Leuco, Paper, Thermochromic, or One Time Write Thermal Card Support	The TCP300 supports printing on three different types of cards to provide the most desired media to clients. With multiple choices for media stock, Star offers the flexibility you need in today's card printing environment.
Magnetic Stripe Read/Write Capability	The TCP300 will write to the three tracks of the magnetic stripe on the back of the card and read that information with the same unit.
Embedded Power Supply	Because the power supply is internal to the printer, you will not have to deal with an external power brick thus saving more counter space.
Swappable Interface Support	You can change interface cards to convert the printer from one interface (serial, as an example) to another interface type (USB)
